Returns Policy
At Chaos Cartel, we maintain strict quality and hygiene standards. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.
1. CHANGE OF MIND
We do not offer refunds for change of mind, incorrect sizing, or incorrect purchases.
Eligible items may be returned for exchange or store credit only, subject to compliance with this policy.
To request a return, you must email admin@chaoscartel.com.au within 14 days of receiving your order.
Return requests submitted outside this timeframe will not be accepted.
To be eligible:

The item must meet all return conditions outlined in clause 2.
Please note, Chaos Cartel does not offer a returns portal. All return requests must be submitted via email and approved prior to sending any items back.
Please ensure you carefully review your order, including product details and sizing, before completing your purchase. Orders cannot be cancelled or modified once placed.
You may contact us at admin@chaoscartel.com.au as soon as possible after placing your order. While we will attempt to assist where possible prior to dispatch, once an order has been shipped, no changes or cancellations can be made and all other policies available will apply.

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
2. ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of receiving your order and must be requested via email.
To be eligible, items must:

Be unworn, unused, and in original condition

Be free from stains, hair, marks, odours (including perfume, deodorant, smoke), or damage

Have all original tags and packaging intact

Be deemed resalable at the sole discretion of Chaos Cartel
Any items that do not meet these conditions will be rejected and returned to the customer at their expense.
3. CONDITION OF RETURNED ITEMS
3.1 All returned items must be received in original, resalable condition.
3.2 If a returned item is found to have:

stains;
-
damage;
-
odours; or
-
any signs of wear or use,
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to:

Reject the return, or
-
Accept the return and apply a deduction of up to 20% from any store credit issued to reflect the reduced resale value.
3.3 If a return is rejected, the item will be returned to you at your expense.
4. EXCHANGES AND STORE CREDIT
Approved returns are eligible for:

Exchange (subject to stock availability), or
-
Store credit equal to the purchase price of the item(s).
Please note:

Shipping costs are non-refundable and not included in store credit

If your requested exchange item is out of stock, Chaos Cartel will not be held responsible and store credit will be issued instead.

Store credit is valid for 18 months from the date of issue.
5. FINAL SALE ITEMS
Items marked as Final Sale are not eligible for return, exchange, or store credit under any circumstances.
6. FAULTY OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS
Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a remedy if an item has a major failure or does not meet consumer guarantees.
If you believe your item is faulty, you must:

Contact us within 10 days of receiving the item

Provide clear photographic evidence of the fault

Ensure the item is unworn and unaltered
Once assessed, if the item is confirmed to have a manufacturing defect, we will provide a remedy in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law, which may include:

A refund

A replacement

A repair, or
-
Store credit
Chaos Cartel reserves the right to determine whether a fault is due to a manufacturing defect or normal wear and tear, misuse, or failure to follow care instructions.
7. RETURN PROCESS

All returns must be submitted via email within 14 days of delivery.

Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

We recommend using a tracked shipping method, as Chaos Cartel is not responsible for lost return parcels
8. IMPORTANT CONDITIONS

Items that fail inspection will be rejected and returned at the customer’s expense

Chaos Cartel reserves the right to refuse any return that does not comply with this policy

Approved returns are limited to exchange or store credit only, unless required otherwise under the Australian Consumer Law
